This document was created by the State Revenue Office of Victoria (SRO). It can also be accessed through the SRO website (see under "Links" below).
Purpose of this document
This document is used to inform the Land Titles Office of details of the purchase of real estate, and is then sent by the Land Titles Office to the SRO so that the SRO can update its records and levy any land tax due.
This form is also used to inform the rating authorities (the water authority and the Municipal Council) after settlement, so that they can update their records.
Completing this document
This document should be completed in accordance with the instructions attached.
Submitting this document
This document accompanies the Transfer of Land when it is lodged at the Land Titles Office for registration. The Land Titles Office will not register at Transfer of Land unless it receives a Notice of Acquisition.
The purchaser's legal representative will send copies of this form to the rating authorities after settlement, so that they can update their records.
