Purpose of this document

This document is used to remove a caveat from a Certificate of Title.  It is common for a Withdrawal of Caveat to be prepared by or on behalf of a vendor of real estate, and handed to the purchaser or the purchaser's representative at settlement.  The Withdrawal of Caveat is then lodged at the Land Titles Office, together with the Transfer of Land, after settlement has taken place.  Click here for information about the use of Caveats.

1. the caveator personally; or
2. the caveator's lawyer/conveyancer.
